Halloween at Europa-Park

Halloween brings out the spooky side of Europa-Park!

Ground fog is settling over fallen leaves, weird creatures are lurking in dark corners and eerie laughter makes the visitors shiver with fear – no doubt: Halloween has come to Europa-Park!
From 27 September until 2 November, more than 150,000 pumpkins, 6,000 corn stalks, 2,000 bales of straw and 200 skeletons transform Germany’s biggest theme park into a romping place for all kinds of strange creatures, where witches, goblins, ghosts and demons gather for a creepy get-together and go for a roller coaster ride inside a giant pumpkin. Moreover, a truly dreadful surprise is waiting for all daring fans of horror…

Halloween has been Europa-Park´s autumn highlight for ten years. Not only the creepily decorated Halloween landscape but also gruesome laughter and scary creatures have been attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors during the past years. Orange, yellow and green pumpkins in all imaginable shapes, countless corn stalks, strange-looking “spider trees”, bales of straw and spooky illumination guarantee a truly horrific ambience.

A Halloween highlight for the whole family is the Happy-Halloween-Parade with more than 80 artists in spooky costumes who play tricks on the visitors. In addition, more than 350 different types of pumpkins are on display in Germany’s biggest theme park and those who want to can even try to carve a Halloween pumpkin.

During Halloween you can savour a wide range of delicious Halloween specialities in the restaurants and snack bars throughout Europa-Park and the Hotel Resort. Red Dracula sparkling wine, “Blood Punch”, Halloween-Muffins, spicy Pumpkin-Paprika-Chilli, breaded Potato-Ghosts and Pumpkin Soup are just some examples for the delicious selection of special Halloween dishes.

And in the evening, when all ghosts are going to sleep in the dungeon, the Europa-Park Hotel Resort with its four 4-star hotels “El Andaluz”, “Castillo Alcazar”, “Colosseo” and “Santa Isabel” are waiting for all guests who just can’t get enough of Halloween.

During the last week of the season, from 25 October to 2 November, things get especially creepy for the big Hallween-Festival. The Evening-Parade of Ghosts and Goblins with more than 80 artists and the giant horror spectacle “DJ BoBo goes Halloween" are some highlights of this creepy Halloween event!
